Who We Are
MakeMore is a leadership-focused initiative  originally developed by FloridaMakes in partnership with Associated Industries of Florida, CareerSource Florida, Inc., Enterprise Florida, and the Florida Chamber of Commerce with the collective goal of elevating the state’s manufacturing industry and demonstrating its impact on the economy. These organizations recognized the importance of diversifying our economy and prioritizing the growth of an industry that provides high-wage, high-value jobs which can ultimately improve Florida's quality of life.

Launched in 2018, the MakeMore Summit is an annual platform to exchange ideas about how our state resources are addressing the impact of market dynamics, economic trends and policies, and new technologies in the manufacturing sector. These organizations bring together thought leaders from all segments of Florida’s manufacturing industry to facilitate a conversation around industry challenges and to offer solutions that will strengthen and advance Florida’s economy by improving the competitiveness, productivity, and technological performance of its manufacturing sector.

The Summit's Goal 
To help build a  road map  towards strengthening and advancing Florida’s economy through innovation and industry diversification. The Summit focuses on four key themes: Business Growth, Talent Development, Technology, and Business Climate.
